A: An email or faxed confirmation of approval or explanations of any changes are required before we the job goes into production.

A: You should advise us by email or faxed of any changes you require. If the changes are significant, then we will send you another proof for approval.
Q: How do I get my artwork files to you?
A: There are three main methods:
- Email (72dpi embroidery or 300dpi print Bitmap based file. ai, bmp, eps, jpeg, tiff)
- Fax (Embroidery artwork, except some print artwork)
- Media (CD, DVD, Memory Stick)
Q: Can you supply garments for decoration?
A: Yes, and we have a vast range to choose from. If you cannot find what you require, then please contact us.
Q: Can we supply our own garments?
A: Yes you can, though we do not accept any liability for any damage due to decoration.
Q: If we already have an embroidery disc, can we use that?
A: Most likely yes, we can use most standard embroidery formats especially .dst files.
Q: Does it cost extra to have more than one colour in the design?
A: No. Not for embroidery. The number of colours used in embroidery makes no difference to the cost. Our machines can cope with numerous colours, but most designs have 5 to 6 or even fewer colours. With printing we can produce full-colour photographic type images for no extra costs. Screen printing is different. Each colour adds an additional cost per colour.
Q: How do you turn our logo into stitching?
A: Digitising is the name given to turning your image into a format that the embroidery machine understands, and the quality of the embroidery is very much down to the skill of the digitiser. Using specialist software the digitiser coverts your image into coded instructions so the embroidery machine knows where to place stitches, what type of stitch to use, what colour thread goes where and much more. Lots of people can digitise, but not many can digitise to our standards. Our digitiser has been producing high quality work for a number of years and customers constantly comment on the quality and finish of the work, even when previously they have had garments digitised elsewhere.
Q: Can you use our existing logo?
A: Yes. We need a high quality copy of your logo and the size requirements. Our only preference is for the artwork to be in a PC format graphics file, e.g. JPEG, TIFF etc., although we can use a paper copy of the artwork, as long as it shows enough detail. The more complex the design the bigger we need the image.
Q: If we just want some text, is there a set up charge?
A: . Providing we can match your font to one of our existing fonts, there is only a minimal set up charge. If the text is quite large, then there will be a standard set-up charge. The full quote will show you the costings for your design.
Q: Are there any guidelines for embroidered text to look good?
A: The minimum size for any text is 5mm in height; use a basic font that doesn't have too many narrow areas. The best results are achieved when the font is at least 8mm high.
Q: On a repeat embroidery order, do we have to pay the set up charge again?
A: No. After the initial design has been created (digitised), the embroidery file is kept for future use. You only then pay for the embroidery to the garment.
